The Israel/USA–Iran war that began on 28 February 2026, so as of 4 April 2026 (today) it has been going on for 35 days, which is 5 weeks exactly.
Trump is now threatening Iranian infrastructure including power plants (illegal) and water salination plants (also illegal), but what the hell, his war is illegal anyway.
Add to those actions, his continued verbal attacks NATO and there are a few things that are clear:
- Trump has no exit strategy
- The USA and Israel are no longer targeting leadership (they may not have the intelligence at the moment)
- Trump does not understand how his warning that he would target Iran’s energy, power, and water/desalination infrastructure if a deal was not reached soon (threat made on Monday, March 30, 2026) makes him sound "unhinged" with a total lack of understanding as to implications of carrying out such a threat.
- The verbal attacks on NATO are obviously due to the fact that the Straights of Hormuz are not secured for passage (something that Trump and his team obviously didn't plan for correctly).
- The fluctuations in global oil prices are hitting countries around the world in a way that is impacting USA relations, Trump doesn't care (his suggestion that those countries buy oil from the USA is crazy, the shipping facilities and routing takes weeks to plan and execute).
Surely the time is right to have Trump replaced, the cost of fuel globally (even in the USA) is seriously affecting ordinary people. In colder countries the elderly are having to decide between heating and food!
Time for Trump to go.
